Contributors
Caleb Adams is an associate professor of mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Radford University. His research interests include systems of ordinary differential equations in applied biomathematics, active learning practices in the collegiate mathematics classroom, and serving as a mentor for undergraduate research in applied mathematics.
Agatha Engel is a Certified Public Accountant, and an assistant professor of accounting in the Division of Mathematics, Science, Technology & Business at Northern Virginia Community College. Her main interest is accounting education; assignments, assessment and course design.
Elizabeth (Liz) Johnson is a professor in the Department of Geology and Environmental Science at James Madison University and is the facilitator of the FLC group. Her research interests include understanding the underlying causes and triggers of volcanic eruptions, and creating and assessing open educational resources for geoscience courses.
Lisa Vassady is an Instruction and Experiential Learning Librarian at Radford University. Her interest in engagement in online learning related primarily to experiential learning and student workers in the first year of the FLC and to teaching online information literacy workshops in the second year.
