Did you know that everything vibrates?  At the quantum level, all molecules (chemical bonds) vibrate with discrete or quantum energies.  We can measure these energies using vibrational spectroscopies, like Raman spectroscopy and FTIR (Fourier transform infrared) spectroscopy.

In this module, we explore the concept of molecular vibrations and how the vibrational energies of chemical bonds are quantized.
